Instrument Adjustment
Using an FDA hand held device/instrument, this procedure assists as a precision manipulation to articulations of the human body. The result is to restore movement or to normalize nerve reflex facilitation to the spinal cord and to the brain.
No treatment is given without prior feedback testing to assure that a failed or abnormal neurologic facilitated joint exists and is in need of adjustment. In other words, if the joint or body tissues are not moving and signaling to the brain appropriately, the brain fails to get the impulses it needs to keep you healthy and will thus keep muscles, organs, blood vessels or other tissues in an abnormal state of contraction (spasm). Left unanswered, this frequently leads to degenerative changes, immune impairment and or patterns of sickness. Procedures can be safely and effectively applied to any skeletal structure, includeing but not limited to the skull, cervical - thoracic- lumbar spines, pelvis, ribs, wrists, ankles, shoulder etc.
Manual Manipulation
Is a hands on service that restores mobility to fixated body tissues. Particular attention is applied to the cervical, thoracic and lumbo-pelvic spine. Procedures include high velocity, low amplitude adjustment/manipulation to the ribs, scapula, fibula, femur, wrist, ankle, elbow etc. Procedures are safe and generally painless.
Cranial Manipulation
The method used at this office most frequently is Bio-Cranial Therapy. Developed by osteopathic physician Robert Boyd, this method frequently
addresses all cranial motions simultaneously at one time.
It releases difficult suture attachments, fascial adhesions while at the same time restores integirty to the dural membranes and fascia that is contiguous throughout the body. In this way it can eliminate pain, and restirction and release adhesive forces most notably in the head, ears, sinus, jaw and then to the extremities - knees etc while having a tremendous impact on internal visceral conditions. This is not to be confused with cranio-sacral therapy.
Cold Laser Therapy
Is a device that assists in the facilitation of improved energy within the cells (up to 500%). This helps to speed up healing, circulation and relieve pain.
Pain Control / Trigger Point
Developed by Chiropractic physicians Dr's Howser and Pannell who in the 1960's were the first American physicians to write the "How To" book on Acupuncture. They discovered this method that employs sustaining directed pressure to reactive cellulomes (trigger points) that refer pain to areas of the body. This incredible procedure often eliminates years of pain to most body tissues quickly and effectively.
Nutritional Reflex Testing
Using researched body surface points, weakness to various systems can be identified. Counter balancing these weakness with the appropriate nutritional supplements (derived from living substances) provides a precise way to determine appropriate need for appropriate nutrition.
